Urges Sta te Agency The Utah State Library association asso-ciation this year is sponsoring a drive for a Utah State Library Agency as well as a coordination coordina-tion of existing state library agencies. In order to accomplish their object, a committee appointed ap-pointed by the library association associa-tion has been making a thorough thor-ough study of the laws of most no agency at present to administer admin-ister them. One outstanding example ex-ample of this is a movement, in congressional circles, to provide for each state annually over a period of four years to sum of 825,000 for library demonstration demonstra-tion purposes. of the slates and also a study of Utah's own library laws. The committee finds that Utah is one of two states that hasn't a state library agency or department.
