Show , G. I. Insurance I Deadline Extended 1 A. O. Ellett, director of the Utah Department of Veterans' Affairs announced that the Veterans Vet-erans Administration has just 3 extended the date to reinstate i lapsed GI insurance. i The deadline, Jan. 1, 1948, has 3 now been extended by order of 3 the VA to July 31, 1948. This , means that veterans whose policies pol-icies have lapsed for non pay- ment may have until July 31, 1948, to reinstate them without taking a physical examination and upon payment of only two monthly premiums. During the past 10 months nearly $40,000,000 in insurance was re-isntated by Utah's ex-GIs. ex-GIs. The new deadline insures that many more Utah vets will be able to hold on to their GI insurance. |
