Show 7th East-21st South Stores Offer Public One-Stop Shoppinq Plan One of the outstanding members mem-bers of the southeast community is the group of progressive merchants mer-chants located at the Seventh East Twenty-first South area. Businessmen of this district call it a "complete shopping center.' Types of businesses range from appliance stores to drug stores and service stations. Prominent among these business busi-ness people are Blomquist's Furniture and Appliance Co. Wasatch Cleaners, Dyers and Furriers, Shines Utah Oil Service, Serv-ice, Superior Floor Coverings Tom's Confectionery & Variety Store, Tom's Bakery and Clara's Shop. These progressive merchants mer-chants have united in inviting the general public to make their community a one-stop shopping service. Parking is no problem at "the Seventh East Twenty - first South shopping center, mer chants say. They point to spacious parking lots provided by several of the business houses. Stores' Specialties Tom Egbert, owner and manager man-ager of Tom's Confectionary on th corner of Twenty-first and Seventh East, is featuring his store's specialty Jonny Sundaes Sun-daes these hot summer days. Blomquist's this week announced an-nounced their new policy of selling many items of furniture and appliances to the general public at wholesale prices. According Ac-cording to Manager Dale Blom-quist, Blom-quist, the store recently secured its wholesale license and direct factory connections, allowing savings as high as 60 to 80 per cent. Formerly at Ben Franklin's, Frank-lin's, Mrs. Larson has given hundreds of local women specialized spe-cialized advice in hemstiching, button holes, belts and hose mending. Glen D.
