Show Local Chapter Host at 3-Day SUP Convention The Sugar House chapter of Sons of Utah Pioneers will play host to the entire membership at its annual encampment, Aug. 5, 6, and 7, at Brighton, according accord-ing to George R. Biesinger. chairman. Reservations are coming in from all parts of Utah, as well as S. U. P. members in Los Angeles, An-geles, Mr. Biesinger said. 3-Day Fete The three-day fete will get underway Friday afternoon, Aug. 5, with registration of delegates del-egates at the Alpine Rose Lodge in Brighton. That evening there will be a special dramatic program depicting pioneer events in Brighton. The Centennial Cen-tennial trekkers will present the evening's program. Saturday morning's main event will be a trip on the ski lift to Lake Mary, where box lunches will be served at noon. The participants will return for a business meeting and annul an-nul election Saturday afternoon. While the men are in meeting a book review is planned for the wives. Winning Story Read Finalists of the state pioneer story-telling contest will be in- troduced Saturday evening, and the winning story will be presented. pre-sented.
