Show HEALTH REPORT Local health officers reported a total of 487 cases of communicable diseases to the Utah State Board of Health for the week ending December 5, 1941. This is 5 cases fewer than were reported last week and 2 cases fewer than reported re-ported one year ago. Chickenpox led the list of communicable com-municable diseases with a total of 245, mumps is second with 99 cases whooping cough is third with 31 cases. Other diseases reported are scarlet fever 22, tuberculosis 8, as follows: influenza 10, measles 29 German measles 9, pneumonia 4 gonorrhea 12, syphilis 17, rheumatic rheum-atic fever 1. No disease were reported from the following counties: Beaver, Daggett, Garfield, Grand, Iron, Juab, Kane, Morgan, Rich, San Juan, Tooele, Washington, and Wayne. |
