According to reports of the best sellers for the week, "THIS ABOVE ALL," by Eric Knight holds first place as it has for several weeks, with Hilton's 'RANDOM HARVEST" in second In non-fiction, Shirers "BERLIN DIARY" is in first place and Alice Al-ice Duer Miller's "WHITE CLIFF" is second. The list of new books to be added ad-ded to our our library covers a wide field of which these are a few: "H. M. PULHAM ESQUIRE" by Marquand is among the best sellers for the week. Mr. Mar- quand also wrote ''THE LATE MR. GEORGE APPLEY" which was one of the prize winners of a few years back. Grace Livingston Living-ston Hill, the always popular writer of light fiction, has a new one out, which we have "IN 'UNE WITH WEDDING BELLS.'' The new mystery for this week is "MYSTERY AT THE BLACK CAT" by Wadsworth. We have just received a new edition of "The Amatuer's Photographic Photo-graphic Handbook" and also a new edition of "The Handbook of Chemistry and Physics." Anothei new book is "American Industry in the War" by Baruch. |
