Show P. T. A. SPONSORS CUBBING r- Major A. Harold Blake, 'chairman 'chair-man of the council committee on cubbing and members of thej committee are discussing dans for more packs and in creasing activity. They hope to have various var-ious Parent Teachers Associationc of the elementary schools sponsor spon-sor cub packs and are hoi ling meetings to effect this aim. On Wednesday 16 a meeting with the Washington school P-T. P-T. A. was held and Thursday with the Whittier school group will meet A demenstration and movies were given at each meeting to illustrate il-lustrate and aims of the program. A-" new pack is also being formed form-ed by the Methodist Church. New members of the Cubbing Committee Com-mittee who will assist in the work are Lynn Hales, Bud Limb, Dr. J. T. Worlton, and Joseph Hav-ertz. Hav-ertz. ' Pack 2 recently held a' banquet at which 32 boys were present with their parents Ray S. Coin is Cubmaster. ' Pack 7 is invited to take part with their older brohers in Troop 34 in their annual banquet. Many Cubs with their dads attended. Joe Matson is their Cubmaster. BOB CUTLER |
