Show SCOUTS FUTURE IMPROVES The boy scout movement has been recognized again in unoccupied unoc-cupied France after being taken away during Germany's conquest in the west, according to a letter received by Oscar A. Copies of the film are available and it is expected that they will be shown to American scouts The same letter added that Polish, Pol-ish, Belgian and French scout units are now in the process of formation in England, to help in returning scouting to those countries coun-tries after the war. It also has been reported that scouting in Portugal, long hampered ham-pered by the government, is now continuing its scouting program as it was originated by the late Lord Baden Powell. The Portuguese scouts are required re-quired to form "passive defense" units made up of signalers and observers. |
