Show SCOUTATORIAL The Chief Speaks With the Indian tribes, as in all small communities, when the chief met with his tribal council their decisions were immediately announced the simple and direct method of speaking to the assembled assem-bled groups. And the advice ind commands' of the chiefs were heeded and followed as they were leaders by right of experience, i bravery, training and Wisdom, j That is the way it should be j with Scouts and Scouters when our Chief Executive Dr. J. E. West speaks. It is not often that we have the privilege of a personal visit and can thrill to his presence, pres-ence, but we can always respond to his call. It may be through the pages of the Boy's Life magazine or it may be from our council ex-cutives, ex-cutives, his emissaries, but however how-ever we receive the messages we should consider and heed them. |
