Show Y Boy Scout Press Club to Edit Page in The Bulletin The Boy Scout Press Club has declared an "all-out" effort for the regulation of one of its primary objectives objec-tives by the issuing of a Scout page, to be issued beginning begin-ning next week in The Sugar House Bulletin. It has been the aim of the club and the sponsors to obtain actual ac-tual newspaper experience and to organize the boys to act as editors, writers, reporters, etc., and this will be done by the new set-up. Tom Lyon, Victor Jensen, Philys Snelgrove und Robert Cutler will act as editors. Don Russell, Robert Romncy and Ralph Merkely are among the youthful newsgathers who will help in the work. Troops and districts are invited to send their news to the Press Club through their representatives or direct dir-ect to The Bulletin office where it will be picked up and edited for the page. Earl Allen, Scout Supervisor; V. F. ;"ictor, Instructor of Journalism at South High School; Jack Anderson, Salt Lake Tribune; Homer P. Andersen, Deseret Xews and Fred E. Hamlin, Salt Lake Telegram, will assist the scouts in compiling and editing the page. |
