Show PAGE SIX SUGAR HOUSE. UTAH THURSDAY JULY 16 1959 INDEPENDENT SUGAR HOUSE BPW CLUB On Sunday afternoon from 1:30 to 6:00 officers Mrs: Ted Miller, Mrs. J. M. Redd, Mrs. W.E. Peel-er, and Miss Helen Bryant with members Miss Mary Louise Gil-mer, Mrs. H A. Elton and Mrs. Signe O'Brien acted as guides for the International Peace Gar-dens. About 200 people registered and many more visited this beauti-ful place. Nine countries besides the United States are represented so far. HOLLADAY COMMUNITY CHURCH Now under way is registration for the Vacation Church School to begin on July 27th. Miss Sally Neighbor is in charge of the re-gistrations and may be contacted , after church services in the nar-th- ex of the church. Holladay Toastmistress Club Holladay Toastmistress Club installed its new officers at their regular meeting, Tuesday, July 7, at luncheon at the Beau BrummeL Restaurant. Installing officer was Junior Past President, Mrs.Thos. McClain who carried out the theme of "Circus Days". She installed as president, Mrs. Frank D. Hughes, who as ringmaster was given a purple balloon, denoting royalty; vice president, Mrs. Don Judy (also program chairman); secretary, Mrs. Robert Hamilton; treasurer, Mrs. Sam Cabibi; and club representatives, Mrs. Rudy Wehrli and Mrs. Robert Jones. S.H. Rotary Anns The newly installed officers of the Sugar House Rotary Anns were hostesses to the regular monthly meeting, Friday, 12:45, July 10, held at the lovely home of Mrs. J. Poulsen Hunter, 2125 Oneida St. Box lunches were served and an afternoon of swimming and var-ious activities were planned. Mrs. Jack Okland, President, and her of-ficers, Mrs. D. Avoran Os-gutho- rpe, Mrs. Laird Snelgrove and Mrs. Neisen Bank greeted the members. The board members newly installed are Mrs. Albert Hibbard, Mrs. Sam Leaver, and Mrs. Melvin "Bud " Brain. Mrs. L.H. Stratford, Parliamentarian, and Mrs. John Cahoon, Historian, were also reinstalled at the last meeting. Mr. & Mrs. Ivan Hromyk and their daughter Sana, of 1205 Yale Avenue, will leave Friday evening, July 17th, on their trip East by train.
