A phone call to the Independent reminded us of an ommission in our story of last week. Mr. Reed Erickson, Second Vice-Commander of American Legion TPost 60 at Murray told us of the fact that his Post had sponsored FOUR young men to Boys State. Post 60 is Commanded by Robert Crosley and one of their important summer programs is the sponsorship of TWO teams in the Boys Junior . Baseball League. These teams play at the Murray Ball Park and we urge all of you folks in that area to get out and support these little lit-tle fellows who are learning the basic fundamentals of the great game of Baseball. |
