The Doll House restaurant was the scene Tuesday, Feb. 24, of a going away party for President and Mrs. George Z. Aposhian who have been called to preside over the Central Atlantic Mission. Their son Lawrence D. Aposhian has also been called to serve a mission in thi3 area. George Aposhian has been president of the Wilford Stake since its organization in 1951. The many friends of the Aposhians wish them well in their new endeavor. Looking at the lovely new suits and dresses being shown this spring, we can't help being glad that waistlines are back. However it may take some of us a while to get our own back, so we can fit into them. Lady Lions Plan Dinner Party Something that everyone will enjoy, however will be the affair arranged for the Sugar House Lady Lions, Feb. 26, at the Lion House Social Center. Connie Jo Hepworth of the University of Utah School of Dancing will present a program featuring her students from the East High Dance Club. She will also instruct the ladies attending in the language of the dance. Chairman for this party is Mrs. Maud Neeley. Young Couple Recite Vows Mrs. Harold Scott of Delano, California, announces the mar-riage of her daughter Diane to Donald Romney Dixon, son of MJr. and Mrs. Donald M. (Sanky) Dixon 2483 So. 15th East, Feb. 27 in the Salt Lake Temple. The Dixons will honor the wedding party with a breakfast at the Ambas-sador Club following the ceremony. The bride was a member of the Cougarettes and Cami Las at B. Y. U. Donald is also a graduate of the B. Y. where he was a member of the Brickers, and the football and tennis teams. The newly weds will live in Salt Lake while Mr. Dixon completes his work for his Master's. Degree. Those entertaining the bridal party are Mrs. Frank Berg, Mrs. Alvin Soderberg, Mrs. Marvin Curtis, Mrs. Vilate Romney, Mrs. Fred Dixon, Mrs. Crista Christensen and Mrs. Howard Russell. A reception will be held in Delano March 6 and an open house at the home of the groom's Aunt and Uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Curtis 2927 Millicent Drive at which the grooms parents will attend on March 13. Entertains A delightful luncheon was given by Mrs. W. E. Jensen in her new home at 453 East 6270 South, Thursday, Feb. 19. Assisting Mrs1. Jensen at her feautifully decorated dining table was her daughter, Dean, a prospective new member of the Morgan Clan Club which has been organized for more than thirty years. Guests included, Jetta John-son, Vera Hoagland, Ruby George, Marjorie Jensen, Marie Zacheo, Grace Risse, Iris Morgan and Leone Weiler. k .?.
