Show Attends Square Dance Jamboree Mr. and Mrs. L. Marcus Jensen, 1540 Mill Creek Way, and family attended the Square Dance Jamboree at St. George during the week end. Sponsored by the "Calico-Jeans" "Calico-Jeans" the elaborate affair took in Utah, Nevada and Arizona, with 47 squares par-ticipating. par-ticipating. The two day dance session included work-shop, luncheon Saturday noon, fashion show and after party Saturday evening. Earl Beck was in charge of the workshop and Bud and Dola Dalton were the dhairmen. Master of ceremonies cere-monies included; Elwood Spendlove.Ward Wright, Don Levitt and Jerry Riggs. Guest callers were represented repre-sented from Utah and Nevada. The eighth annual Jamboree was held in the St. George Rec-reation Hall. The Jensens were awarded a prize for being represented with the largest family. |
