Show Life With Lynnel Sunset", 'Klabab", and of course those familiar things with that strange name of 'Hot Fudge Sundae." "Stairway to the Stars" was the theme of the Valley View Stake's Gold and Green Ball and they really carried the theme through beautifully. The decorations decor-ations were gold net molded into the pattern of a stairway with brilliantly colored stare hanging from them. I can say one thing that the floor show was a big success. There was an all girls dance and a Tango done very gracefully by the groups who participated, and the "Barbershop Quartette" had everyone laughing and enjoying themselves. Linda and Vickl Allen really threw a fun party the other night. They had such cute games like these: For this one each person had to leave a possession possess-ion of his in Linda's trust and .then do whatever he was asked to do. The kids had to do silly things like dancing the minuet in front of the group, sing "Hound Dog", and answer silly questions like "have you ever applied for a marriage license?" etc. and answer them truthfully. Another game-they passed a-round a-round three sacks of old clothes and records. Whenever the music stopped the one who was hording the sack had to put en one article of clothing from out of the sack. Wally Boyack surely looked ridiculous in a girl's old stiff half slip, Valerie Haymore looked cute in a man's shirt that looked like a prison uniform, Nancy Hanchett and slip. Then after that Linda and Vicki's mother served a real good dinner. Some of the kids who really kept the party going were: Jim Divine, Lee Burbidge, John Parr, Ann Laker, Joanne Doyle, Jerry Barrett, Valerie Haymore, Nancy Kiimball, Karen Pickering, Nancy Hanchett, Wally Boyack and of course Linda and Vicki. There were just millions of kids, but I can't remember" all their names! Bye for now, Lynne Hi There! IT" - When I first started to eat Pixza I wasn't sure whether I liked it or not. I ate two pieces and then I didn't have any more for a while. The other night Jo Doyle had a Pizza partyvat her house for seven would be Pizza lovers. I don't think, that any of us liked Pizza very well until we tasted 'Chef Joanne's special Pizza that she made. She ended up making about six Pizza Pies and I bet each one of us had at least nine pieces. The other now Pizza lovers who were there were: Carolyn Day, Sarah Soderborg, Valerie Haymore, Sue Brinkman, Maysie Kimball, Sandra " Doyle and Joanne's "pink" cat.1' It surely was a long drive out to Magna to Cyprus High School, but it didn't seem half as long on the way back because Olympus won the game ;they played with Cyprua. Shirlene Allen, Pam Moyle, Linda Christ-ensen Christ-ensen and I along with a lot of others screamed until we thought we had Laryngitis, but it was worth every bit o it After such a good game we just had to celebrate, so we went to . Snelgrove's and had some con- cotlons with names like "Desert Ann Laker looked like they were already for bed in their old nightgowns, Jerry Barrett looked cute in a girl's fancy blouse and Karen Pickering was simply stunning in a taffeta |
