Show Scout Briefs A Girl Scout Leadership Train ins program is beincr conducts this course in Scout Leadership will be ready to take over a scout troop of their own. Mount View Neighborhood Troop No. 218 will present the colors at the Founders Day Parent Par-ent Teachers Association meeting meet-ing on February 28th. uig program is being conducted under the direction of Mrs. Margaret Mar-garet Riley at her home at 3639 Palisade Drive. At the first four scheduled meetings, held February 11th from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 pjn., the meeting was a model of what should be followed at a regular Scout meting. Twenty-four mothers from the entire Salt iake Area were present, to enjoy the films showing show-ing how to become a girl scout leader and how a camping trip is planned and carried out. Among the important things stressed for the leaders to know was what to expect emotionally from each group of girls, some of the songs, dances and rythm games that the leaders are expected ex-pected to be able to share with their girls and how the various scouting funds are earned and raised and how these funds are allocated. Although it was an interesting and informative session and mothers who attended are looking look-ing forward to the next three classes, scheduled for February 13th, 18th, and 20th.
