Show Toastmistress Club Name New Officers "The purpose of the Toastmistress Toastmis-tress Club is to learn to speak well," said Miss Davidson, president presi-dent of the Club. The motto is "To love our Language and use it with grace and facility." Miss Davidson David-son stressed the need for use of language and vocabulary, and pointetl out that the club gives instructions in all phases of lan-cuace lan-cuace and sDeech control. z Cf i. Self improvement is strongly stressed, and the women learn to speak properly by participation rather than by example, primarily. Speakers have been supplied by the club for such worthy projects as cancer drives, and other charity char-ity organizations. Their brother organization, the Toastmaster's Club, conducts classes at the pris- ' on, helping the men there to learn better speech. Members of the Toastmistress Club has been elected for the next six months, and named Miss Dav-dson, Dav-dson, of 2612 Simpson Ave., president. presi-dent. Other officers include Mrs. II. K.
