Show Lt. Geis Visit On Leave . tw. T-0.r. Lt. Donald W. Geis of 26S0 Filmore St is spending his leave at the home of his. parents. -Lt. Geis is serving as -nlv officer and is currently stationed at the Lake Charles, ::; .:r : erct sc. i -i the recent disasterous hurricane Audrey which struck at the Louisiana coast, Lt. G-:s r-d other officers and men of tho Lake Charles Base assisted in th rescue work. Lt. Geis is a graduate of S utn High and the Universitv of Utah where he received ROTC training which has assisted him rr?atly in the military caroer wMch has chosen. While at tha University Un-iversity Lt. Geis also played b".s-ball b".s-ball on the varsity team and upon his graduation he received offers from the Brooklyn Dodger organization. He played one year for Union City, New Jersry before be-fore moving up to the parent Brooklyn Club. He is currently continuing his interest in baseball base-ball at the' Lake Chtrles base where he is playing manager for their team. He has approximatly one year remaining of military service ana states that his plans for that time are as yet still undecided. |
