HEALTH OFFICERS WERE APPOINTED the board of 0 county c commissioners met in regular session 01 on a tuesday march 3 those present were chairman fred C ferron commissioner william K dye co commissioner W W mcconkle Wc Conkie county attorney E H burgess and county clerk rulon J larsen after taking care of some routine business the commissioners made several appointments it has been suggested that the board divide the county into sanitary districts appointing a health officer tor for each district who shall be when practicable a physician such district health officers would together with the board ot of county commissioners constitute the county board of health it was decided however that persons holding the DOSi position tiOn ot of registrar of vital statistics in most of the precincts be appointed to the position of health officer also among others who have been ap pointed are the following mrs atmire almire E lowe monarch precinct mrs J E L carey fruitland froitland Fruit land precinct W it evans boneta precinct others will be appointed in the very near future the commissioners appointed melvin melvia behunin to be constable for al tonah precinct to take the place of E P rollins who sent in his resignation A petition was put before the commissioners asking that harvey partridge sr be appointed road supervisor per visor or overseer tor for road work being done on that section of road lying between duchesne city boundary on the east arid and Alid view precinct on the north side of duchesne river river after considering the petition t I 1 C n the th e same was granted gran ted to the signers
