Show tit. Emmons Deane Case Leslie N. Pearson, president of the Moon Lake Wildlife association, as-sociation, attended the two-day convention of the Utah Wildlife Federation in Salt Lake, Jan. 21-22. Mr. Pearson expressed himself as pleased with the amount of business transacted at the meet, but said more help might be obtained for the Uintah Uin-tah Basin if the game clubs in this area would get together on some concrete objectives before the next state convention. Mr. and Mrs. Leslie J. Orr were hosts, Jan. 22, at a small house party. Their guests included in-cluded Mr. and Mrs. Ray Han-berg, Han-berg, Mr. and Mrs. Volney Bos-well Bos-well and Evan O. Bennion. Table Ta-ble games were played during the evening, and refreshments were served. Billy and Terry, children of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Fieldstead. of Boneta, spent two days last week with their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. J. Edgar Holder, while their parents were in Salt Alfred Rogers, who has been living in Roosevelt, looked after property interests here during the week, prior to moving with his family to Phoenix, Ariz. Mrs. Delmar Mecham visited in Salt Lake over the weekend with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. R. M. Brandon. Mr. Brandon is in poor health. Mr. and Mrs. Leslie J. Orr spent Saturday in Vernal with their daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Karl Allen. The Altamont Farmers defeated de-feated Pink and Tony's Wednesday Wednes-day night at the high school gym. Players for the local team are Hal Barton. Bruce Hartman. John Carlile,. Glendon Guyman, Harry Fieldstead, Lynn Hansen, Jr.. and Anthon Rust. Mrs. Niel Murray, of Myton, is spending the week with her narents, Mr. and Mrs. George Rogers. |
