Show Ward Conference Held, Stake Leaders Visit Prior to ward conference, stake officers of the auxiliary organizations visited the local group during the past week. MIA representatives last Tuesday Tues-day evening included Dot Ot-tosen, Ot-tosen, Mary Lois Reichert, Edith Ed-ith Olpin, Alice Olsen, Naomi Gardner, Deatha Olsen, Bill Nelson and Ned Gines. Visitors at Primary were Clara Gardner, Verda Campbell, Camp-bell, Olin Timothy, Lois Leav-itt, Leav-itt, Dorothy Jensen, LaVelle Shafermeyer. In attendance at Sunday School were the stake presidency, presiden-cy, Hollis Hullinger, Clifford Drollinger and Ezra J. Nixon;, also High Councilman R. L. Nielson, and Ariel Michie, Evan Percival and Neill Jensen, su-perintendency su-perintendency of the stake Sunday Sun-day School. Ward conference was held Sunday evening with the stake presidency and high councilman council-man present. A financial report was given by Bishop Olsen, and the welfare assignments of the various organizations for the year were issued. Talks were given by Shirley Cloward, Neill Duncan and Pres. Ezra J. Nixon. Nix-on. A vocal solo by Ferris Henrie, Hen-rie, with Sherene Henrie as accompanist; ac-companist; and a vocal duet, by Dawn Huber and Dorothy Luck, with guitar accompaniment, accompani-ment, provided the musical numbers. A meeting for all officers of-ficers and teachers of the ward was held after conference, with Pres. Hullinger and Drollinger as speakers. |
