Show Mrs. Elsie Bird Presents Program In Sunday Meeting The Duchesne Seminary presented pre-sented a very interesting program pro-gram in Sacrament meeting, Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Gam Gilbert are rejoicing over the arrival of a new baby son, born March 19 at the Roosevelt Hospital. All concerned are doing nicely. Mrs. Evelyn Mullins and children visited Thursday at the home of her parents, . Mr. and Mrs. Thomas M. Gilbert. Mr. and Mrs. Horace Charwin spent a few days visiting in Salt Lake City. Mr. and .Mrs. Clair Duncan and son, Bradly, visited Friday evening at the home of Mrs. Duncan's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Bird. Warden Olsen and Stanley Keller attended the basketball games at Provo, Thursday night. Visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Marion Ross during the week were Mrs. Shirley Mecham, Mrs. Arlene Labrum, of Roosevelt, and Mr. and Mrs. Loryn Ross, of Myton. Hazel Johnson, Cleo Holgate, Donna Ross and Gwen Holgate attended the basketball games in Provo. Mrs. Boyde (Vivian) Freston, of Roosevelt, visited during the week with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Archie Larsen. Miss Pauline Larsen came in from Provo to visit her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Milt Larsen. Leon Ross came home from Provo to visit his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Marion Ross. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Goodrich and son, Larry, of Tridell, visited vis-ited at the home of Mr. and Mrs. LeGrand Gilbert. Mr. and Mrs. James O. Larsen Lar-sen and family visited Sunday at the home of Mrs. Larsen's mother, Mrs. Olive Sorensen, in Ioka. Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Hansen and family spent Sunday evening eve-ning at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lyndon Hansen. Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Ross visited Sunday at Mt. Home, with Mr. and Mrs. Dave Farns-worth. Farns-worth. . Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Ross went to Vernal, Saturday, to visit Mrs. Ross' mother, who is in the Vernal Hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Gwen Bodily, of Roosevelt, are visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Ross. Roslea, Gerald and Elaine Gilbert are staying with their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. R. S. Lusty, while their mother is in the hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Shields visited one day with their daughter, Mrs. Gladys Ross. Wesley Washburn, of Spanish Span-ish Fork; Mrs. Olive Sorensen, of Ioka, visited Monday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. James O. Larsen. Mrs. Frank Uresk, of Myton; Mrs. Evelyn Mullins, of Roosevelt, Roose-velt, visited at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Gilbert one I day last week. Mer Lynn , Childs,. who lost his life in a car accident near Brigham City two weeks ago, was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Ger-ald Childs, ol Salt Lake City, former members of Ballard ward. Mr. and Mrs. John H. Cook, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Cook, Jack, Wayne and Orlan Cook attended attend-ed the funeral services for Everett Ev-erett Goodrich at Bluebell on Wednesday, March 17. Mr. Goodrich was a cousin of the Cook brothers. Supt, Harold M. Lundel was at Alterra school on Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Sanford Butcher have moved into their new home just recently completed, which is east of Jesse Butcher's home. Mr. and Mrs. Angus Anderson Ander-son made a trip to Denver, Colorado last week. Olie , Rasmussen spent several sever-al day last week in Salt Lake City, visiting relatives. Mrs. Dean Frandsen worked in the J. C. Penney store one day last week in place of her sister, Mrs. Rollin Buchanan. Mrs. Norma Johnson and Mrs. Ardis Kettle assisted some of the Primary workers at the home of Mrs. Clara Gardner last Wednesday evening in making mak-ing corsages out of pheasant feathers for the Primary conference con-ference in Salt Lake City in April. Mr. and Mrs. Tom Shasler were business visitors in Vernal Ver-nal on Friday. Several from our ward attended at-tended the wedding dance of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Arrowchis and Mr. and Mrs. Richard Taylor Tay-lor at Ft. Duchesne on Friday evening. Floyd Emerson, of Magna, was a visitor at the home of his brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Blaine Emerson, on Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Eric Stolla and Mr. and Mrs. Frank ConneJey, of Salt Lake City, were weekend week-end visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Eric A. Stolla. They were out on a business trip, making a trip into Colorado, Sunday. Bill Newland, of Salt Lake City, is buying the Jack Rasmussen Ras-mussen place south of the Butcher farm. Mr. Newland is working the farm now; his wife and baby are in Salt Lake. Mr. and Mrs. Russel Todd and Farrell Mohlman made a trip to Logan and back on Sat urday, March 15. Marion Bowman, a " high councilman, was a visitor at Ballard on Sunday. Mr. Bowman Bow-man and Dr. R. V. Larson were speakers in" Sacrament meeting. Mrs. Rhoda Turner, who" has spent the winter in Moab, has been visiting at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Bill Brisbin. Mr. and Mrs. Karl Bracken and two children, of Salt Lake City, are visiting at the home of Karl's parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Bracken, also at the home of the Duane Brackens and Elton Kettles. Mrs. Dean Frandsen entertained enter-tained after, the dance Saturday Satur-day nignt in honor of her husband's hus-band's birthday. Mr. and Mrs. Rollin Buchanan, Mr. and Mrs. Bernell Buchanan and Mrs. Evan Olsen were guests. Miss Joann Todd, who has been attending school at the USAC in Logan, has discontinued discontin-ued her school and is now at home. Mr. and Mrs. Ottis Butcher and Perry Butcher spent (Sunday (Sun-day in Vernal visiting relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph McMullin and Mr. and Mrs. Darrell McMullin Mc-Mullin attended the wedding dance of Mr. and Mrs. Bob Fieldsted at Mt. Home on Friday Fri-day evening.
