Show Married In Temple Mr. and Mrs. LaFarge Dastrup Das-trup and Mr. and Mrs. Albert Dastrup attended the wedding of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Perkins (nee, Lorraine Dastrup) on Friday, Fri-day, March 19, at the Logan Temple. After the ceremony, the group went to Preston, Idaho, Ida-ho, where they stayed for the weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Dastrup Das-trup returned home Sunday. A reception and dance will be held in honor of the newlyweds in Mt. Emmons on Saturday, March 27. Duke Isaksen and his son, Ronnie, were overnight guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Grant Hansen on Tues, March 16. They left for California Wednesday and expect to return re-turn with the rest of the family in the near future. Monthly Primary Preparation meeting was held at the home of Mrs. Sonny Denver on Mar. 17. There were 12 officers and teachers present. James Evans, son. or Mr. and Mrs. Darrell Evans of Salt Lake City, and his sister, Cora, and brother, Newell, visited Saturday Satur-day of last week with Mr. and Mrs. William R. Evans. James has recently returned from Korea after almost a year's service there. Mrs. Frank Griffins of Whiterocks White-rocks visited Friday with Mrs. Waldo Hansen. VARIETY CLUB The Mt. Emmons Variety Club met on March 18 at the home of Mrs. Jewell Kolb. Mrs. Clair Ashton, of Roosevelt, conducted con-ducted a Civil Defense Meeting which the club members found very interesting and instructive. instruc-tive. There were 14 ladies in attendance. |
