Show Recorder Fees In '53 Drop Below Previous Reports Fees from the county recorder's record-er's office amount to $6,363.65 for 1953. This is considerably less than the total of $8,123.01 for 1952, $7,750.68 for 1951, and $7,043.15 for 1950. The decline in fees is attributed attrib-uted largely to the slackening of oil leasing activity in the county. Cash receipts from the recorder's re-corder's office are derived from fees charged for recording public pub-lic records, including mineral leases, deeds mortgages, patents, mining claim locations and proof of labor, liens, documents, docu-ments, and for making certified certi-fied copies of these records as requested. Fees for these services servic-es are set up by law. Mrs. Dorothea W. Allred is Duchesne county recorder. |
