Show Audrey Smith, student nurse at the Salt Lake general hospital, hos-pital, spent the week-end with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Smith, and family, returning to Salt Lake Tuesday morning. Maurine Gilbert, Grace Col-ton Col-ton and Carol Patry, accompanied accompan-ied Mr. Colton to Salt Lake City Friday. The girls returned home Monday. John Gale motored to Helper Saturday to get Mrs. Gale and son, Johnny, who had been visiting vis-iting her parents. Heber A. Peterson, of -Spanish Fork is in Roosevelt on business. He will spend the summer sum-mer months in Roosevelt and Spanish Fork. Mr. and Mrs. B. L. Harsh and family, of Murray, former Roosevelt Roos-evelt residents, were in Roosevelt Roos-evelt this week on business. They spent Saturday and Sunday Sun-day as guests of Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Uack and were overnight over-night guests Monday of Mr. and Mrs. Sherm Anderson. - George Pulos and Louis Laris, left Tuesday for Gary, Indiana, where they will visit two or three weeks with relatives and friends. They plan to stop for a brief visit in Chicago, enj-oute to Indiana. Mrs. Cliff Rockwood. Nancy and Sid, were Salt Lake City visitors last week. They were accompanied by Mrs. Rock-wood's Rock-wood's mother, Mrs. Elle Gal-lacherVi Gal-lacherVi who returned to her home there after visiting here two weeks. Tim and Arlene joined their mother in Salt Lake Friday. They went in on the bus. Mr. and Mrs. Forrest L. Stone, of Fort Duchesne, accompanied ac-companied by Mrs. Stone's sister, sis-ter, Mrs. Victoria Baney, of Montana, left Wednesday morning morn-ing for a business trip to Washington, Wash-ington, D. C. Mr and Mrs. Garnett Birt-chell Birt-chell and Mrs. Ted Harmston were Salt Lake visitors Wednesday. Wednes-day. Mr. and Mrs. Clem Labrum were Salt Lake City visitors Thursday and Friday of last week. - r - Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Allen spent a few d?ys in Salt Lake City last week and then left Thursday Thurs-day for a ten-day trip to Idaho Falls, where they will visit witn Dr. and Mrs. Ray Hatch, and to Rexburg. to visit with Dr. and Mrs, Lynn Sutherland. . Salt Lake City visitors last Friday were Mrs. Myrtle Lambert, Lam-bert, Mifs. George Stewart and Mrs. Parley Rawlings. Week-end guests at the Gor-i don Harmston home were Mrs Morris P Lewis and daughter, Kathy, ; of Coalville, former Roosevelt residents. Cpl. Richard Bailey is home on furlough from Elgin Air Force base in Florida. He is enjoying a visit with his mother, Mrs. Lola Bailey, and other relatives rel-atives and friends. Bailey was promoted to the rank of corporal cor-poral the day he arrived home He is scheduled to report back for duty on April 27. Mr. and Mrs. George Harrison Harri-son were Salt Lake visitors from Thursday to Sunday. George, a director on the game board, attended a fish and game meeting meet-ing while there. Mr. and Mrs. Howard Harrison Harri-son spent last Friday in Salt Lake City. They were fortunate in getting tickets for the stage Play, "Mr. Roberts," presented at the Capitol theatre. Miss TRita Hutcheons. of Salt Lake City, visited in Neola and Roogevelt Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Murray, Carl and Charlotte spent the week-end in Rock Springs, Wyo. with their son, Hugh, who is working there. They returned to Roosevelt Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. James Colling-,ham, Colling-,ham, of San Bernadino, Calif are spending a week in Roos levelt as guests of the Hugh Murrays. Bonnie and Beverly White left Friday for Tremonton, where Bonnie will make her home with her parents. Bonnie and her fiance, Kent Wheelwright, Wheel-wright, brought Beverly back to Roosevelt Tuesday and returned to Tremonton that same eve-i ning. J |
