Show Kiwani-Anns Name Hew Officers At Wednesday Meet An auxiliary to the Roosevelt Kiwanis club was organized Wednesday night at the Frontier Fron-tier Grill, with nineteen ladies in attendance. It was the decision de-cision of the group to call the organization 'The Kiwani-Anns,' and to meet the second Wednesday Wednes-day of each month. Election of officers was held, V with all being -elected by acclamation. ac-clamation. Named as president were Mrs. Cliff Memmott; vice-president, vice-president, Mrs. J. D. Walker; secretary-treasurer, Mrs. Elmer Eldredge; reporter, Mrs. Floyd Peterson. A committee of three, including includ-ing Mrs. Parley Rawlings, Mrs. Wilford Robinson and Mrs. Orson Or-son Stevens,, was named to assist the officers in formulating a set of by-laws for the auxiliary. A very interesting report was given by Mrs. Fran Harrison on her recent trip to Seattle to attend a Childhood Education convention.- Pink snapdragons and white daisies formed the centerpiece for the table, accented by pink and white tapers in crystal holders hold-ers at either end. |
