Show Myton Mrs. Grace Dalgleish Mrs. Homer Robinson entertained enter-tained the Friday Bridg-e club at her home last week. Present were Mrs. W. H. Linck, Mrs. Wm. Preece, Mrs. Bliss Lott. Mrs. Robinson was high score winner, Phillip Todd was host Saturday Sat-urday evening to a group of the younger set at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Todd Games and refreshments were enjoyed by Genene Harris, Car-Jolyn Car-Jolyn Dennis, Colleen Dean, Alice Smith, Lorna Reed, Franklin Peterson, Lloyd Fenn, Howard Davenport, Russell Gingell and Bdlie Giles. Mr. and Mrs. Devon Gentry were honored Sunday evening when friends surprised them to celebrate their 29th wedding anniversary. an-niversary. Cards and delicious refreshments were enjoyed by Mr. and Mrs. Darrell Dean, Mr and Mrs. Guy Giles, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Davenport, Mr and Mrs. Fred Todd, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Tanner and Mr, and Mrs. Gentry. Miss Alice Todd and Mr. and Mrs. James Dalgleish attended funeral services for Mrs. Nellie Feller at Duchesne, Thursday afternoon. af-ternoon. Mrs. R. H. Burdick. who has been a guest during the summer months at the home of her sister, sis-ter, Mrs. Bliss Lott, left last week for her home in Ft. Myers, Florida. Visitors at the ranch home of Mr. and Mrs. O. A. Dart are Mr. and Mrs. Fred Hunter, of Fresno, Calif., who arrived Thursday to participate in the deer hunt. Lyman Dennis has been visiting visit-ing his parents. Bishop and Mrs. Syerl Dennis, while here to en- Joy the hunting season. Willis Dart, a student at Wasatch Wa-satch Academy, Mt. Pleasant, came home for a few days to join the family hunting party. Mr. and Mrs. Clark Abegglen and family have moved to Maes-er Maes-er to spend the winter. Mrs. W. H. Koehler arrived from Vernal Sunday to attend to property interests. While here she was a guest of Mrs. Bliss Lott. Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Leigh, of Orem, last week visited Mrs. Leigh's parents, Mr. and Mrs. O. A. Dart. Mr. Leigh joined the family hunting party. Mr. and Mrs. Ted Thomas and daughter, Mrs. Virginia Klopak-is, Klopak-is, spent a few days in Price, returning home Sunday. "Trick or Treat" was the theme song of the pranksteers Monday evening, as they hurried to each local merchant and then tried their luck at the homes. Several parties kept y0uns4.su entertained, cutting the mischlcr to -a minimum. Scavenger hunts, refreshments, games a'1 f"" were enjoyed by all. Mr. and Mrs. Louis Pratt, former Mytonites now residing near Las Vegas, Nev., visited old friends here last week. Local hunters were apparently apparent-ly on the lucky list this vear, jr more deer were available. Almost Al-most 100 deer have been processed pro-cessed at the local locker plant, which is, we believe, quite a record. Mr. and Mrs. Ed Hart, of Duchesne Du-chesne were Myton visitors Sunday, Sun-day, as they returned from a week's visit with relatives in Grand Junction o"d Aspen, Colorado. |
