Show MormvEL May L. Mower CHURCH NOTES A Court of Honor of the Boy Scouts of Roosevelt Stake was held in the Montwel ward Sunday, Dec. 9. Speakers at Sacrament meeting were Don Pace whose talk was on "The Last Days." Melvin Mower Mow-er spoke on the "Dispensation of the Fullness of the Gospel." Bishop Bish-op James E. Larsen and High Councilman Presley Timothy spoke on the "Budget of the Year" and "Sustaining the Ward Officers." The Gold and Green ' Ball of the Montwell ward will be held on the night of Dec. 26 at the Montwel chapel. The Primary children are practicing prac-ticing a program which they will present in the Ward Christmas Eve. BUILDING HOME The ward is working on a house here that will replace the home of the Verl Johnson family, which recently burned to the ground. Howard Crapo was home over the weekend. Mrs. John Ferguson of Gusher is here visiting her daughter, Mrs. V. Blanchard. ' Mrs. Melvin Mower received that her sister, Mrs. Winnona Cloward of Ioka had fallen and broken her ankle. She has a cast on from her knee down to her toes. The basis of Christmas is love loving its enemies, returning good for evil, love that "suffereth long, and is kind."
