Show missionaries Are Sunday Speakers Elder Orlan Cook, of Ballard, a returned missionary from the Southern States, and Elder Calvin Cal-vin Broadhead, of Utahn, a missionary mis-sionary from Norway, were guest speakers at Sacrament meeting on Sunday afternoon. The Aaronic priesthood sang, "Angry Words," under the direction di-rection of their leaders, Reed Anderson and Udell Winklerr. j On Sunday evening Elder Calvin Cal-vin Broadhead showed films and slides and told some of his missionary mis-sionary experiences of interesting interest-ing places in Norway. Among those attending the' Goodrich reunion at Naples ward on Saturday were: Mr. and Mrs. Gardner L. Goodrich, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Goodich, Mr. and Mrs. John Goodrich and daughter, Carolyn, Mrs. Garda Seeley and daughter, Jeanne, and Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Goodrich. Good-rich. Mrs. Florence Hancock, of Salt Lake City, spent a few days here visiting with friends and relatives. She was a guest of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Goodrich during her visit. Mr. and Mrs. Orie Cook drove to American Fork on Sunday to attend a Mail Carriers' Convention. Conven-tion. They returned home the same day. Mr. and Mrs. Monte Williams and son, Randy, have gone to Salt Lake City for a week. Proud parents are Mr. and Mrs. Ervin Rust. They announce the arrival of a son, born on Friday night. Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Waldo Hansen and Mr. and Mrs. LeRo'y Rust. The following girls received individual awards Sunday: Pauline Paul-ine Winkler, JoAnn Goodrich, Eloyce Atwood, .Marilyn Jennings, Jen-nings, Marolyn Atwood. Cheryle Remington Thacker, and Shana Lee Winkler. NEWLYWEDS HONORED Mr. and Mrs. James Adams, recent newlyweds, were honored at a wedding reception on Friday Fri-day night at Bluebell ward chapel. The evening was. spent in dancing. During intermission the following program was given: giv-en: song, "Orange Colored Sky" by JoAnn Goodrich; saxophone and accordion duet, "Lady of Spain," Betty Goodrich and Janet Seeley; reading, by Ber-nice Ber-nice Atwood; song, Jean Seeley; jokes, by Lucille Winkler, and a reading by Lois Goodrich. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Wathen, of Murray, visited one day here with friends, Mr. and Mrs. John S. Thorsen. The Wathens were on their way to the mountains. Mr. and Mrs. Alma Richman and daughter, Helen, spent the weekend here and in Roosevelt with relatives. |
