Show Financial Report Released By Fair Board Duchesne County Fair Board released re-leased the financial report for the 1954 fair this week, showing a balance of $249.55 to start this year's fair with. Milton Poulson, secretary-treasurer of the fair, released re-leased the statistics. The release showed a balance carried forward from the 1953 fair of $1060.89. Other income included includ-ed premium book donation, $674; concession stands and carnival, $177.53; rodeo and horse show, $984.64; Miss Duchesne County Contest, $312.65. The total income for the 1954 fair was $3110.71. A total of $2861.16 was spent on various expenses. The following follow-ing is a list of these expenses: Parade, $81.38; parachute jumper, $100.00; buildings, $95.60; advertising adver-tising and premium books, $469.55; judging ribbons, $132.90; Miss Duchesne Du-chesne County, $106.95; 4-H exhibits, ex-hibits, $50.28; premiums, $472.35; postage, $18.65; rodeo and horse show, $769.51; children's events, $46.69; and miscellaneous, $517.30. The total expense, $2861,16 subtracted sub-tracted from the total income, $3110.71, leaves a balance of $249.55 to start the fair this year. |
