Show Randletl Viola Jensen Priesthood Gives Sunday Program Sacrament meeting was under the direction of the Melchizedek priesthood, with Mariner McMul-len McMul-len conducting. Speakers were Lee Wardle, Austin Wardle, Oliver Jorgensen, Ward Jarman, Draydon Foster, Fahy Durfee and Venice Durfee. A quartet, Ralph Durfee, Bert Harris, Ward and Grant Jarman, sang "O, My Father," accompanied accompan-ied by Carolyn Stoddard at the piano. AT ENCAMPMENT The Avalon second year Beehive Bee-hive girls, with their leader, Mrs. Eugenia Pickup attended the Beehive Bee-hive home at Alpine. Girls attending attend-ing were: Carolyn Stoddard, Irene Jensen, Shirley Pickup, Janet Durfee Dur-fee and Janet Brough. Grant Pickup Pick-up took the group in his truck and brought them home Thursday evening. The group enjoyed a lovely trip, Mr. and Mrs. Jess Jensen and daughter, Joyce, visited Monday in Roosevelt at the home of their daughter, Mrs. Marion Shelton. Mutual officers and teachers attending at-tending stake MIA Leadership in Roosevelt, Wednesday evening were: Ray Wardle, Melton Stoddard, Stod-dard, Hazel Wardle, Lula Dudley, Mildred Brough, Ethel Durfee, Carol Lewis and Viola Jensen. Mrs. Marion Taylor and daughter, daugh-ter, Diane, left for Clearfield on Thursday morning to attend the wedding of Mrs. Taylor's niece. The Avalon ward girls' Softball team played the Roosevelt Second ward team Friday evening at the Roosevelt Citv Park. Primary officers and teachers attending the two-stake Primary convention Friday were: Donna Pickup, Jennie McMullen, Laura Bastian, Alice Wall, Hannah Harris Har-ris and Viola Jensen. Mr. and Mrs. Sheldon Lewis and family were Roosevelt visitors Saturday, Mr. and Mrs. Keith Gillian and daughter, of Sandy, spent last weekend visiting Mrs. Gillian's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Barney. Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Wardle and family and Mr. and Mrs. Morton Mor-ton Wardle and family, of Los Angeles, Calif., are visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. William T. Chandler. Mrs. Leah Chandler worked in the Randlett store for a few days during the past week. The mens Mutual baseball team played Bennett Saturday at Avalon. Ava-lon. The score was 7 to 2 in favor of Bennett. Quint Pickup called his mother Sunday afternoon. Quint is stationed sta-tioned at Camp Carson, Colo. Mrs. Mable Nebeker is visiting in Ogden at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Nebeker. Mr, and Mrs. Lynn Nebeker are the proud parents par-ents of a baby boy. Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Wall, of Salt Lake City, and Mrs. Nora Neff of Holliday, were Thursday dinner guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Wall, and overnight over-night guests. Mr, and Mrs. Robert Marshall and family moved to Salt Lake City, Tuesday, where Mr. Marshall Marsh-all is employed. Mrs. Nina Clark and children went to Lewiston, Utah, to visit Mr. and Mrs. Don Van Dyke. GENEALOGY MEETING The Rasmussen genealogy meeting meet-ing and party was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Jorgensen, Jor-gensen, Wednesday evening. A weiner roast was enjoyed around a bonfire and a program was presented. pre-sented. Those present from Vernal Ver-nal were: President and Mrs. Archie Johnson and family, Mrs. E, V. Smith and family, Mr. and Mrs. Heber Powell of Naples, Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Pope and family of Naples, Mr. and Mrs. -T. T. Rasmussen of Lapoint and Mrs. Vena Wardel and family of Vernal. Ver-nal. Mr. and Mrs. Orvel O. Stone, of Nephi, visited Sunday afternoon after-noon at the home of Mr, and Mrs. Fahy Durfee.
