Show Ballard Ellen Bracken Mr. and Mrs. Jay Gill, of Og-den, Og-den, were guests, last week, at the home of Mrs. Gill's sister, Mrs. Cecil Jenkins. Jack Rasmussen motored to Salt Lake Saturday, accompanied accompan-ied by his parents and Mrs. A. W. Seeley. Mr. and Mrs. Angus Anderson went to Salt Lake last week so that Mrs. Anderson could receive medical care. Mrs.. L. E. Clark visited several sever-al days last week in Salt Lake with a sister who is ill. Julia Kettle, Millie Hatch, Ivo Seeley and Ora Coston attended a special meeting for school cooks at Ft. Duchesne last week. Dale Hayes visited the A. W. Seeleys over the weekend. He attended the Scout banquet Saturday Sat-urday night. Boy Scouts and their fathers enjoyed a banquet at the Ballard Bal-lard school kitchen Saturday eve-ning. eve-ning. James Anderson, of Price, was the principal speaker. Mrs. Julia Kettle was in charge of the banquet assisted by Mrs. A. W. Seeley. Mrs. Alden White, Shanna Bellon. Marie Eldredge, and Sharlenc Hadlock. Tuesday evening the MIA eiv-tertained eiv-tertained at an April Fool's party. par-ty. Vegetable corsages were presented pre-sented lo Marie Eldredge and Grant Clark for their clever make-up. Mrs. Vern Allred returned to Ogden, Monday, after spending several days with her sons, Dee and Jack. Glenn, who came out with her, remained to assist with the farming. Arthur Wiscombe has returned from Morgan for a short visit. Mrs. Raymond Elmer was called to the hospital Sunday afternoon af-ternoon because of the serious condition of her sister, Mrs. Merle Moosman. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Westwood, of Rangcly, visited the John Cook home Saturday. |
