'. .-1 Max Allred Bert Allred ARMY. NAVY. MARINES , REPRESENTED ,1 Three sons of Mr. and Mrs. I Dan Allred of Altonah are serv- ing in the armed forces of our country. Cpl. Max Allred, 19 1 years of age, entered the Marine J Corps June 22, 1943. He receiv-1 receiv-1 ed his basic training at San Die-yi Die-yi go, California and at present is "i stationed in San Francisco. Max J Is a 1943 graduate of the Altaic Alta-ic mont High school. I Bert Allred, Electrician 2-c, -j 24 years of age, enlisted in the n Navy Seabees in June, 1942. He E received his training at Norfolk, i. Virginia and has been serving in J the South Pacific the past year. Pvt. Douglas Allred, 26 years . old, entered the Army February . 11, 1942 and received his "boot" . training at Camp Wallace, Tex-as. Tex-as. J arrived here from Marona Field, rx- Tuscon, Arizona, on a furlough t.i last week, He was accompanied wl by his wife, Fern Betts Milligan, j who has been with him at Ari-k Ari-k i zona. James enlisted in the Army $ l Air Corps Ground Forces Scp-tember Scp-tember 23, 1942 in Denver, Colorado. Colo-rado. He has been stationed at Winter Field, California, Yuma ( u Arizona, Luke Field, and Ma-ilhU Ma-ilhU rona Field. After a short visit in gCf Denver with Pvt. Milligan's par-jlu par-jlu ents, he and his wife will return St to Marona Field where he will J report for duty. i .! IN THE NAVY I L Glen E. Fullmer F. 2-c, son of 'J Mr. and Mrs. Van Fullmer, of '2 Roosevelt, is now an integral fV member of the Amphibious For-v.y For-v.y ces of the United States Navy. At ,,' j the completion of his prelimi-'.'t prelimi-'.'t nary LST training at the Am-Bff' Am-Bff' Phibious Training Base, Camp Bradford, NOB, Norfolk, Virginia Virgin-ia jj la, Glen was assigned to the crew J I of an LST for active duty. HERE ON LEAVE ' J Keith Snyder of the U S Navy St was here overnight on leave. He j acre; had just returned from service rytoa! in the Gilbert, Marshall and oth-; oth-; er islands of the Pacific. Keith was accompanied by his mother, fle Mrs. Newell Snyder and brother ON. 1 -nd sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Oral Snyder of Salt Lake. Mrs. ej Jack Gleaton and two children, jlre V Juanita and Benny, returned to J Salt Lake with them. Keith re- turned to San Francisco Tues- day o last week. GRADUATES 0 Aviation Cadet Marion L. f faumgaertel, son of Mr. and W1) Mrs. John Baumgaertel was ,rllih graduated from the AAF Pilot ZA school March 12, 1944 as a mem-ber mem-ber of Class 44-C. He was com-missioned com-missioned a second lieutenant ff Pi n the army air forces and is en-k en-k titled to wear the silver wings ji y a flying officer.
