Show IMPRESSIVE SERVICES EASTER SUNDAY The Easter service, sponsored by the Bible Mission of Roosevelt, Roose-velt, went off as per schedule. A trumpet solo "The World Is Waiting For The Sunrise" by Marvin Penfold was played just before the sun's rays appeared appear-ed on the horizon. After the sun rose, he also played as a solo, "The Old Rugged Cross" before which Harry Gregory directed everyone's attention to the cross on the top of the hill. Appropriate Approp-riate songs were sung and scripture scrip-ture readings were taken from Mathew 28. Every lady attending attend-ing was presented with a lovely corsage of sweet peas and daffodils. daffo-dils. Following the service an Easter breakfast was served at the mission. A large number took advantage of the service and appreciated the opportunity for an uplifting experience. |
