Show K5X-XSXS 'IX5XSX205X2X3 Leeton-Bennett Sunday, April 1, the Sunday school gave an Easter program, with Azer Evans in charge: Song; two scripture readings by Ve-lois Ve-lois Long and Ray Haslem; Easter Eas-ter poem, Billie Haslem; song, by congregation; talk, Winford Long; quartet, Marie Haslem, Lola, Merve and John Bolton, 'I know my Redeemer Lives". Mr. and Mrs. Clair Haslem and family spent Easter at the home of his brother, Mr. and Mrs. John Haslem. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Houston .entertained at a Easter dinner Sunday at their home, Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Whitlock. Mr. and Mrs. Less Taylor and daughter, Maxine and Byron Horrocks spent Easter Sunday with Gerald Crehero of Tridell. Miss Merna McKenna of Salt Lake is visiting with her grandparents, grand-parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Hall this week. Velois Long spent Sunday afternoon af-ternoon at the home of Elna Hartle. Mr. and Mrs. A. D. Watkins and children of Midvale came home Thursday to visit her parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Walt Pen-fold. Pen-fold. They returned home Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Hartle and daughter, Elna spent Saturday night at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Hartle at Lapoint. Lynn Whitlock of Salt Lake City, a nephew of W. L. Whitlock Whit-lock visited last week at his uncles home in Leeton. The party Friday night at'Ben-nett at'Ben-nett was well attended. Those out of Bennett present were Mr. and Mrs. Fritz Burton, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Roff, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Sprouse, Mr. and Mrs. Royal Roy-al Horrocks, Mr, and Mrs. John Horrocks, Mr. and Mrs. Mell Pierson. Program was given and refreshments served by Adaline Hartle, Fern Houston and Frances Fran-ces Horrocks. The remainder of the time was spent dancing. Keith Bowen left April 2 for Salt Lake City. Ray Haslem left Monday to take his final examination at Salt Lake City to enter the Service. Ser-vice. The oldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Clive Sprouse who was operated op-erated on for appendicitics at Price is home. Mr. and Mrs. Sprouse were Salt Lake City visitors last week. |
