Miss Hazel Birtcher sent ice cream for the Easter dinner. A delicious Easter dinner was prepared and served by Margaret Margar-et and Ruth Jorgensen. Mrs. Horace Allred served a delicious dinner on Monday last in absence of Mrs. Wiscombe. Mrs. Thyrena Eskelson, our efficient night nurse has been suffering from a heart attack the past two weeks and has been unable to be with us. We hope she will be fully recovered and be able to resume duties again." Mrs. Ada Cook, who has served ser-ved faithfully as a nurse, has moved to Vernal, making it necessary nec-essary to discontinue with her work. We appreciate her services and wish her well in her new home. Mrs. Erma Stolla who has for some time served as night relief nurse has now accepted a placement place-ment five days a week. Mrs. Stola'is an efficient nurse and her services are appreciated. Mrs. Reva Allred is giving valuable service as relief nurse at the present time. Mrs. Arvilla Butcher who has assisted with nursing for some time has left to attend home duties. dut-ies. She proffers, however, to help in emergenies. Mrs. Hazel ueeier nas accepted accept-ed the evening nursing work for five days a week. We are happy to have Mrs. Beeler with us. Mrs. Bonita Fite, a former Medical social worker with the army in Iceland, who has been assisting with the nursing at the hospital has found it necessary to discontinue due to her health. We have enjoyed the association with Mrs. Fite and appreciate her valuable services. Splendid work is still being done by members of the Red Cross Nurses Aid members, and the Hospital staff wish to express appreciation for their service. We are happy to learn that a new class is to be organized as soon "as sufficient numbers enroll. en-roll. Anyone caring to take this valuable training should contact Mrs. Fred C. Fcrron or Mrs. Horace Ritchie, who are putting forth every effort to bring this service to the community. We would again like to draw attention to visiting hours: from 2 to 4 P. M. and 7 to 8 P. M. It would assist materially if those desiring to visit patients would observe these hours. |
