Show Ueola Ruth B. Jensen Mrs. Ella Stringham, of Vernal, Ver-nal, took her mother, Mrs. Emma Em-ma L. Wimmer, and sister, Mabel to Vernal for Thanksgiving dinner. din-ner. Mrs. Delma Bastian was pleasantly plea-santly surprised Saturday when her family and relatives gathered gather-ed at her home in honor of her birthday anniversary. Mrs. Thelma Orr, of Riverton, spent the Thanksgiving weekend with her parents, Mr. and -Mrs. Lester Gardner. Mr. and Mrs. Forrest Hancock and daughter, of Pleasant Valley, visited with relatives several days last week. Mr. and Mrs. Max Horrocks, of Salt Lake City, visited here over the weekend. Principal Donald Seegmiller went to St. George for the. Thanksgiving vacation. Miss Jerry Spencer, who is attending a business college in Salt Lake, Maxene Gardner, Lila Duncan, Neill Jensen and Rulon Smithson. students at the B.Y.U., spent the Thanksgiving vacation here. Miss Lilith Baxter, of Salt Lake City is visiting here with relatives and friends. Mr. and Mrs. Tal M. Wardle and sons went to Provo, Thursday Thurs-day for a short visit with their parents. John Yack, of Carbon College, was home for the weekend to attend the wedding of his. broth- er, Edward, and Faye Roller. Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Hutcheon and family and Mr. and Mrs. Jack Leavitt and small daughter daugh-ter spent Thanksgiving day in Orem with Mr. and Mrs. Ned Shoales. Wayne Bastian left Sunday for Logan, where he will register as a student at the U.S.A.C. for the mid-winter term. Mr. and Mrs. Orin Gardner, of Hayden, entertained at a family dinner, Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Bingham, Bing-ham, of Ft. Duchesne, visited Saturday Sat-urday with their children, Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Bingham. Eva Sprouse and Ora Mecham of Roosevelt, were weekend guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Deone Spencer. Berle Bell, of Vernal, was a Thanksgiving dinner guest at the home of Royal Horrocks. Miss Modena Horrocks and Miss Janice Spencer returned to Vernal Ver-nal with Berle to spend the weekend. |
