Show JCCs Over Top In War Fund Drive At the monthly meeting and banquet of the Roosevelt Junior Chamber of Commerce held at the Steve and Ned's cafe Monday evening, December 6th, the following fol-lowing final report on the United War Fund Drive for the east half of Duchesne county was given by Lyall E. Pitt, chairman of the committees: The quota was $1200 and the amount collected 'was $1749.02, over subscription amounting am-ounting to 45.75 per cent. Total received from each place was Al-tonah, Al-tonah, 260.00; Neola and Mt. Well, $326.00; Bluebell, $100.56; Mt. Emmons, $108.50; Upaloc, $75.75; Ioka, $90.45; Roosevelt, $778.76. Tojo the "Pest Pig" was presented pre-sented to Hollis Hullinger to feed and care for until the next monthly month-ly meeting, January 3rd, for not attending meeting without the proper excuse. |
