Show News of Local Folks in U.S. Forces KILLED IN GERMANY Cpl. Lynn Franklin Angus, who was previously reported missing in action in Germany, has been reported killed in action ac-tion in Germany March 27, 1945. He is the son of John A. and Bertha Ber-tha B. Angus Fort Geo. G. Meade, Maryland and was sent from there November 21, 1944 to France then to Germany. Cpl., Angus was born September 28, 1909 at Lakefork, Wasatch Co., Utah; received his schooling at Ioka and Roosevelt High school. He was a member of the L D S church, having served as secretary secre-tary of the M I A and ward clerk for a number of years, and a member of the Elders quorum of Ioka ward. He is survived by his parents; j one brother, Ray Angus of Rains, Utah; 4 sisters, Mrs. Thelma Cook, Bluebell; Miss Edna Angus An-gus and Mrs. Eva Percival of Ioka; Mrs. Unice Remund, Duchesne; Du-chesne; 2 half sisters, Mrs. Mary Merrill and Mrs. Christena Mer-rell Mer-rell of Vernal and 3 half brothers, broth-ers, Delbert Angus, Draper; Elmer El-mer Angus of Englewood, California; Cali-fornia; Wilford Angus, Oroville, California. |
