Show Officials Confer On Plans For Onion High School A discussion on the procedure to be followed in the planning li conduction of the Union Sh school was held in Roos-lt Roos-lt last Saturday with rcpre-Sutives rcpre-Sutives of the Indian Service 3 school board members from Duchesne and Uintah counties Stag part. The meeting reproved repro-ved the first general get-to-Mlher of the agencies concerned to the planning for the new school. Representing the Indian Ser-Tjce Ser-Tjce were Louis H. Brashear, district construction engineer, Phoenix, Arizona; Superintendent Superintend-ent Forrest R. Stone of the Uin-tah-Ouray agency and Ray Adams, Ad-ams, superintendent of the Whiterocks Indian school. School Superintendent H. M. Lundell. W. Russell Todd and Ralph Siddoway spoke for the Uintah county school district with Gordon Harmston. school toad member acting for Duchesne Du-chesne county, and Ray E. Dill-man Dill-man serving as legal advisor. i 1 i THE procedure to be followed in. planning the Union high school was outlined by Superintendent Superin-tendent Stone as follows: Submission Sub-mission of certification of approval ap-proval of the plans and specifications specifi-cations from the State Superintendent Superin-tendent of Public Instruction, to- gether with certification that the plans complied with the regula- y, Hans and laws of the State of ; Utah; submission of plans and specifications for the proposed Union High school;. the furnishing furnish-ing of a statement with evidence nf the participation by the school district!-outlining the availability availabil-ity ofneans to "pay the" portion tontracted for by the district or a contract for construction which woald disclose the obligation and ' arrangements of the two school districts. Mr. Brasher discussed the procedure pro-cedure to be followed by the . Indian Service in approving the plans and specifications and the method to be followed in ad-1 ad-1 vancing the Federal govern-J govern-J ment's contribution toward con-struction. con-struction.
