Mrs. Emo Hadlock received word last week thai her mother, Mrs. Crapo, of Brigham City, had injured an arm in the wringer of her washer, forcing her to postpone an intended visit to the Hadlock's home. Mr. and Mrs. Charles P. Bing-ham Bing-ham have purchased the Dee Allred home and store across the road from Alterra high school. Rev. Charles Ray is in Texas for a two week vacation. Mr. and Mrs. Russel Todd attended at-tended a Richardson reunion at Jensen, Friday afternoon, and on Saturday motored to Naples to attend a Goodrich reunion. Oth ers from Ballard attending tne Goodrich reunion were John Cook and his sons, Orljjn and Wayne, and Mr. and Mrs. Jack Cook. Mrs. Geo. Glen Molyneux, of Salt Lake, was a guest last week at the Stolla home. A vcrv successful quilting party par-ty was hcll by Relief Society members at the ward hall on July 19. Twenty-five ladies participated in the event and enjoyed the delicious pot-luck dinner. Mrs. Russel Todd and Mrs. John Gilbert, represented the Stake Board. Mr. and Mrs. Angus Anderson and Mr, and M.rs. LeRoy Anderson Ander-son motored to Salt Lake and Back Monday, July 18. Mr. and Mrs. Elton Kettle went to Salt Lake July 15 to place their small son, Dennis, in the Primary Children's hospital. hos-pital. Mrs. S. B. Kettle went with them. Mrs. Pearl Jenkins has returned re-turned home after spending a month in Salt Lake City. At present she is caring for the children of Mr. and Mrs. Lyrad McConkie. of Altamont. Mr. and Mrs. Horace Lund-berg1 Lund-berg1 and three daughters, of California, Cal-ifornia, are visiting at the David Da-vid and Francis Lundberg homes in Independence. Mrs. Nita White and Mrs. Minnie Angus sang a duet- . Elder Francis Rogers, of Mesa 1 Arizona, has been a guest at the Russel Todd home. He was a companion of Keith Todd while both -were serving in the -Texas Mission. During his stay, the boys enjoyed a fishing' trip and a trip to Salt Lake City to participate par-ticipate in the Pioneer celebration. celebra-tion. Mrs. Cecil Jenkins and family visited in Vernal with Mr. and Mrs. Bart Merkley during part of the Homecoming celebration. Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Bracken attended at-tended the celebration at Altamont, Alta-mont, Saturday, and also visited with Mr. Bracken's sister, Mrs. R. W. Rust, and family. Mrs. Irene Redford and daughter daugh-ter of Bakersfield, Calif., have been visiting .with Mrs. Jack Cook. Also a guest at the Cook home, was Mrs. Mark Bellon, and family, of Salt Lake City. Both ladies are sisters of Mrs. Cook. They also visited with their grandmother. Mrs. John Gardner. Mrs. Wendel Johnson and son, Philip, who have been in Provo with Mr. Johnson this summer, are now guests at the Russel Todd home. Mrs. Axel Pierson's granddaughter grand-daughter is visiting with her. Glen Eldrcdge returned recently re-cently from a trip to Yellowstone Yellow-stone Park and Canada with Byron By-ron Horrocks and Lynn Haslem, of Bennett.
