Mrs. Myrtle Nelson, of Upalco, and her daughter, Mrs. Erma Swenson, of Richmond. Calif., called on friends here Friday. Mrs. Vlrgie Ferguson spent a few days last week with her mother, Mrs. Bill Woodard, at Tooele. Hal Johnson, of Orem. visited here Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Wash-burn Wash-burn of SpringVille. spent the 24th with their mother, Mrs. Olive Sorenson. Mr. and Mrs. Reed Hancock, of Roosevelt, spent Wednesday evening with Mr. and Mrs. Tom Gentry. Carlos Clark and his daughter. Fern, of Myton visited Sunday afternoon at the Gerguson home. A very bad hail storm swept Ioka Saturday afternoon, doing considerable damage to crops and gardens. Bruce Calder was a guest last weekend at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Garret Stone. Mrs. Minnie Ashton and Mrs. Mary Hardman, who have been visiting here for the past two weeks, were called to Salt Lako Saturdty to be with Mrs. Gertrude Ger-trude Ashton, who is very sick. John Faucett went in with them. Dale Nelson celebrated his birthday Friday night with a lawn party, enjoyed by 16 of his friends. The Ioka ward celebrated the 24th with an outing in Uinta canyon. Mr. and Mrs. Clarence. Wall and Mr. and Mrs. David Timothy of Cleveland, Utah, were guests, Thursday, of Mr. and Mrs. Otto Lloyd. Ann Michie, of Tabiona, has been visiting here with her aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Ariel Michie. Mr. and Mrs. Edmund Webb, Mr. and Mrs. Clayton Webb and son, Lee, spent several days last week fishing at Rockcreek. |
