Mrs. Lovina Roberts went to Salt Lake City Saturday to visit her son, Floyd, who is a patient in the L. D. S. hospital. Mrs. Arthur Hutcheon was hostess to the Community Club members, Friday afternoon at her home. A tempting dessert luncheon was served to twelve guests. Dick Bastian spent the weekend week-end in Salt Lake City. He had claimed to enter the U. of U. for the summer term. However he has returned home for the present. Neola's Centennial Queen, Miss LaRene Elmer, has chosen Colleen Bastian and Marjorie Gardner as her attendants for the 4th and 5th of July celebra- Mrs. Jennie Woodward attended attend-ed the "Polio Treatment School" 1 at Vernal, Thursday and Friday. Mr. and Mrs. Jay Larsen announce an-nounce the marriage of their daughter, Janie, to Fred Hamilton Hamil-ton Zimmerman, of Chicago. They were married Thursday at the family residence. Janie has been attending Westminister College in Salt Lake City. Mrs. Jane Allred, of Ogden, is visiting at the home of her son, J. Wesley Allred, and family. fam-ily. Fred Roberts, Mrs. Eva Syn-degaard Syn-degaard and four children, of Salt Lake City, were guests of Mrs. Lovina Roberts last week. Mr. and Mrs. LeGrand Gardner Gard-ner went to Salt Lake Cit.v last Wednesday. Mr. Gardner was operated on Thursday at the L. D S. hospital. This is the second seige for "Bill" in the past two months. x. Thad Wilkerson spent the weekend in Neola. Glade Peterson Peter-son returned with him to Salt Lake where they are working on the "This Is The Place" monument. Mrs. Phyllis Wardle and Mrs. Les Jensen entertained at a party, par-ty, Monday afternoon, celebrating celebrat-ing Jerilyn Jensen's third birthday birth-day anniversary. Twenty-five little friends played games and enjoyed other entertainment. The score in the baseball game played her Sunday, was .Neola 9, Roosevelt 1. Mrs. Franklin Whitmore has been very ill the past week.
