Show Myton Mrs. Grace Dalgleish Mr. and Mrs. Steve Hamilton are the proud parents of a baby daughter, born Friday, June 20. Mother and baby arc doing nice- Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Preece, Sr. Bishop Sverl Dennis and Mrs. Leonard Harris returned Sunday from a short visit in Salt Lake City. Guests at the ranch home of Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Lamb, last week were, their son-in-law and daughter, Homer Petersen and three small daughters, of Twin Falls, Idaho. Edsel Murphy and Charles Edwards, Ed-wards, who have been attending the U.S.A.C. at Logan, returned home last week. They were accompanied ac-companied by Mrs. A. E. Edwards, Ed-wards, who has been residing at Las Vegas, Nevada. Mrs. Edwards Ed-wards will make her home with her son, Vcrn Edwards, during the summer. Mr. and Mrs. Darrcll Dean, enjoyed en-joyed a visit from their son, James, last week. He employed employ-ed at the Keith O'Brien store in Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Broome and granddaughter, Mrs. Lawrence Law-rence Bywatcr, returned Friday from a short visit at the home of Air and Mrs. Owen Jakeman, in Salt Lake City. They were accompanied ac-companied by Harry Jakeman, who will visit for some time with his grandparents and sister. Mrs. Lydia Pcatross enjoyed a short visit from her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Carlos Car-los Roberts, 'and children of Provo. They returned home Thursday, leaving their young son for a longer visit. Mr. and Mrs. Sam Lamb, of CJpland, California, spent a few days with Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Lamb, while enroute to their home from a vacation trip in Colorado and Kansas. Mrs. Wm. Koehler was hostess to members of the Friday Bridge club last week. Members present were, Miss Anna Hunt. Miss Alice Al-ice Todd, Mrs. Homer Robinson, Mrs. Bliss Lott, Mrs. James Dalgleish, Dal-gleish, Mrs. W. H. Linck, and Mrs. Ken Tinsley. High score was won by Miss Hunt. Other guests were Mrs. R. T. Bonin and Mrs. George Phillips. Mrs. R. T. Bonin is visiting at the home of her brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Koehler. She recently returned from a visit of several months with relatives at Joplin. Missouri and will Remain here for a short time before going to her home in Roosevelt. V & V hcaetaoshrdlthcmfwypcesh A large crowd of baseball fans accompanied the team to Duchesne, Du-chesne, Sunday, where they enjoyed en-joyed a rather one-sided game. The score was 10 to 2 in favor of Myton. The townspeople have given wholehearted support to the Myton team and are very proud of the excellent showing our boys have made in the league: They have won 8 games and lost none. The game Sunday! was the last game of the first half scries. Mr. and Mrs. Homer Robinson and Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Lamb left Sunday on a two weeks vacation va-cation trip to the Northwest. Mr. and Mrs. Ed Hart, of Duchesne, Du-chesne, were Myton visitors, Monday. |
