Sergeant Warr was the first man to enlist from his home county. He served 3 years with the armed forces in the Northwest North-west Pacific, .21 months on a Transport Delivery. He witnessed witness-ed the attack on Atter and other action in the Aleutian Island. He has been released for the present because of physical disability. dis-ability. Verl Roper , is in Salt Lake serving on the Federal jury for this term of court. Bishop Claude Hugo Mitchell, Newel Knight, President Edwin L. Murphy are attending the L D S conference in Salt Lake City. Mrs. E. L. Murphy is visiting in Woodland. Mrs. Clayton Dennis of Clearfield Clear-field is visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Percy Potts. Sharon Cummings leaves for military service on April 10, A party for all the inductees who leave in the near future is planned plan-ned for Friday evening. - Dee Rees of Mt.
