Show Pioneer Father Dies at Myton Funeral services were held Wednesday at Myton L D S chapel for Albert Elisha Edwards, Ed-wards, who died Friday morning morn-ing at the family residence on North Myton Bench. Mr. Edwards .was born May 29, 1862, at Mantl, Utah; he married mar-ried Ida Pearl Musig at the Man-ti. Man-ti. Temple. In 1904 the family moved to Castledale and then in 1907, shortly after the opening open-ing of the Uintah Reservation, they took up a homestead on the North Myton bench and have since resided there. He is the son of James P. and Katheryn Petty Edwards. Surviving him are his widow, three daughters, Mrs. Ruth Pitts of Price, Mrs. Etta Holgenson of Las Vegas, Nevada, and Mrs. Kate ' Smith of Alemeda, California; Cali-fornia; the following sons: A. J. Edwards of Las Vegas, Nevada, Vernol L. Edwards, Charles Edwards Ed-wards of Myton and an adopted son, W. Edsel Murphy, air cadet of the U S forces at Chandler Field, Arizona. |
