Show Do 1Jou Remem6ell June 9, 1926 The local company recently organized or-ganized to take over the Basin Pharmacy has sold its interests to Dave Huish, of Salt Lake City, who has taken charge of the store. Mr. Huish is a graduate of the Northwestern University o f Chicago and is a registered druggist drug-gist of many years successful experience. ex-perience. For about fifteen years he ran a drug store at Payson, Utah, which he sold to the Schramm-Johnson organization some four or five years ago. Mr. Huish plant to change the name from Basin Pharmacy to Basin Drug Store. Work on the tourist park is progressing rapidly. A new cook , house is being built and modern conveniences being installed. A space has been prepared for a lawn which will add an attrac- tive feature to the park. Soon Roosevelt will be able to welcome wel-come tourists to as comfortable a camp ground as will be found along the Victory highway. The Roosevelt commercial club is sponsoring the improvements. The picnic held last Sunday at . Whiterocks by the gun clubs of Roosevelt, Vernal and White-rocks White-rocks was a most enjoyable and profitable affair. More than a hundred persons were there. After the meeting called at 2:30 the picnickers went to Leeton where 400 rounds of target shooting shoot-ing was held. Albert Crumbo, L. D. Young and Emanuel Swain scored the highest number of shots. Mrs. Crumbo scored high in the contest for the ladies. Harry Sprouse brought in on his truck Sunday a new J. I. Case Threshing machine for C. C. Larson. The machine has been purchased by a company of Nepla farmers who are getting ready to take care of the coming harvest. . County Attorney Burgess went to Duchesne Tuesday morning to attend the regular meeting of the Board of County Commissioners. Commission-ers.
