Show Boneta Mrs. Opal Barton Miss Elaine Cox has returned to Castle Dale, after visiting with her sister, Mrs. Wm. N. Brotherson, and family. Mrs. Emmaline B. Cox, mother of Mrs. Brotherson, is at present a J guest at the Brotherson home. Mr. and Mrs. C. D. Brotherson and daughter, Janet, were din ner guests, Sunday, of Bishop and Mrs. Mons Johansen. Mr. and Mrs. Bob Lindsey and family, of Mt. Home, visited Mr. and Mrs, F. E. Reynolds on Sunday. Sun-day. Glen Mohlman, of Altonah, was a special speaker at Sacrament Sacra-ment meeting, Sunday. Several changes in the different differ-ent organizations in the Ward were made Sunday. Mrs. Leora Oman, president, of the Relief . Society, and counselors were released. re-leased. Mrs. Alice Swasey was I sustained as president, with Han . nah Oman and Beth Brotherson as her counselors. Neldon Johaii-! Johaii-! sen was released as Ward cl3ik '. and Arthur Snow sustained. Marvin Mar-vin Swasey was released as second sec-ond .counselor to the Sunday School superintendent and Martin Mar-tin Brotherson was sustained. Betty Swasey was released as counselor in the Primary organization, organ-ization, with. Kathleen Pearson sustained as counselor. Will Cook was celled to Salt Lake City by the serious illness of his sister, Mrs. Blanche Iron. Mrs. Irons passed away soon after af-ter Mr. Cook arrived there and will be buried in Salt Lake City Mnndav. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Oman visited visit-ed Mr. and Mrs. A. O. Madsen Sunday afternoon. Mr. Madsen is seriously ill at his home. Mr. and Mrs. John W. Mower were guests at dinner Monday at the Barton home. . Miss Evelyn Pace and Miss Vivian Barton, of the Altamont faculty, visited Mrs. Opal Barton Bar-ton Tuesday evening. John W. Mower and Mrs. Opal Barton received word Wednesday Wednes-day that their father, John L. Mower, of" Fairyievy , ;" had suffered a cerebral hemmsrhage. Jack Barton was visiting at the home of his grandfather at the time Mr. Mower wai taken ill, He will remain there to attend school and help his grandmother until his grandfather has recovered. recov-ered. Mr. Mower is improving slowly at this writing. Edward Barton returned on Friday from a trip to Sanpete county. Merrill Taylor spent Saturday visiting relatives in Mt. Home. Mr. and Mrs. F. L. Mower, of Talmage, visited at the John W. Mower home on Friday. Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Oman and family were dinner guests Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Laypr Oman. |
