Show Leeion-Bennett Mrs. Fred Hartle Mr, and Mrs.. Leonard Horrocks Hor-rocks and daughters, of Vernal, were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Clair Haslem. Mrs. Marrie Hamaker gave a surprise birthday party, Sunday night, for Mr. and Mrs. Les Taylor, Tay-lor, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Hall and the young folks of Bennett. Games were played and a candy pull enjoyed. John Haslem and son, Lynn, left last week for Los Angeles. Dean Haslem and family accompanied accom-panied them from Provo. They will also visit in Texas with Mrs. Dean Haslem's parents. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Hartle, Mr. and Mrs. George Allred and son were dinner guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Hartle, of Lapoint. David Morrell, of Tridell, visited vis-ited in Bennett Sunday in the interest of the Elders' quorum. Wayne and Wendel Russon visited vis-ited in Springville over the weekend. Mr. and Mrs. J. P. Bowen visited vis-ited in Rangely with their daughter daugh-ter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Coltharp, enroute to Denver, Colorado. Mrs. John Horrocks is quite ill in the Basin hospital at Vernal. Ver-nal. Mr. and Mrs. Ned Coltharp visited last week at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Horace Coltharp. |
