Show National Forest Timber For Sale Sealed bids will be received by the Forest Supervisor. Ashley Ash-ley National Forest, Vernal, Utah up to and including December 6, 1948, for all merchantable dead timber standing and down and all live timber marked for cutting on an area of approximately approxi-mately 25 acres within Section 7, T 2 N.. R. 3 W., U.S.M.. Crow Canyon Chance, Dry Gulch Compartment, Com-partment, Lake Fork Working-Circle, Working-Circle, Ashley National Forest, Utah, estimated to be 31,000 feet b. m.f more or less, of lodge-pole lodge-pole pine sawtimber and 138,000 linear feet, more or less, of lodge-pole lodge-pole pine timber suitable for mine props. No bid of less than S3. 15 per M feet b.m. for saw-timber saw-timber and $5.15 per M linear feet for mine prop timber will be considered. In addition to making payments for stumpage, the Purchaser will be rpnnirprf to make an additional deposit of $0.10 per M feet b.m. and $0.15 per M linear feet for the total cut of sawtimber and mine prop timber respectively, to be deposited into a cooperative work fund to pay for the cost of slash disposal work. At the time of submitting bids, $200.00 payable to the Treasurer of the United States must accompany each bid, to be. applied on the purchase price, refunded, or retained re-tained in part as liquidated damages dam-ages according to conditions of sale. The right to reject any and all bids is reserved. Before bids are submitted, full information concerning the timber, the conditions con-ditions of sale, and submission of bids should be obtained from the Forest Supervisor, Vernal.
